Electricity: In Whistler, and throughout Canada, electrical outlets are type A and type B. This means that travelers from the United States will generally not need an adapter, as their devices are compatible with the local plug types and voltage. Type A outlets feature two flat, parallel prongs, while type B outlets include a third grounding pin. The standard voltage in Whistler is 120 volts, and the frequency is 60 hertz—consistent with North American standards. If you are traveling from outside North America, such as Europe or Asia, you will likely need a plug adapter and possibly a voltage converter. Many international devices operate on 220–240 volts and 50 hertz, which may not be compatible without conversion. Please note that the hotel does not provide adapters, but they are available for purchase at select local stores in Whistler Village.

Guests should also bring any necessary medications, although Whistler Village is well-equipped with several pharmacies and a medical clinic should additional needs arise.

Currency: The official currency in Whistler and throughout Canada is the Canadian Dollar (CAD. Most businesses accept major credit cards, and ATMs are widely available. Currency exchange services can be found at the airport, banks, and select locations in Whistler Village.

Luggage: All baggage will travel with you in your transfer vehicle between Vancouver and Whistler. Upon arrival at each hotel, your luggage will either be delivered directly to your room or securely stored by the hotel concierge if you arrive before check-in time or prefer temporary storage.
