Expected Weather: From May through July, the Reims–Paris region enjoys mild to warm weather, ideal for both city exploration and countryside vineyard visits. Daytime temperatures typically average around 64°F (18°C) in May and gradually rise to approximately 77°F (25°C) by July. Travelers can expect long daylight hours, occasional spring showers, and plenty of pleasant sunny days, perfect for strolling through Parisian boulevards or savoring Champagne tastings in Reims.

What to Bring: To ensure comfort throughout your experience, we suggest packing light, breathable clothing suitable for warm days, along with a jacket for cooler mornings and evenings. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for navigating cobblestone streets and full sightseeing days. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat will be useful for sunny afternoons, while a compact umbrella or light rain jacket may be needed in case of showers. A camera or smartphone is recommended for capturing iconic landmarks and vineyard views, and a refillable water bottle will help you stay hydrated while touring. Be sure to bring personal toiletries and any necessary medications in their original containers.

Currency: The official currency in France is the Euro (€). U.S. Dollars are not accepted. Major credit and debit cards, such as Visa and Mastercard, are widely accepted throughout the country. However, it is advisable to carry some local currency for small purchases, gratuities, and access to public restrooms.

Luggage: For your comfort and convenience during coach transfers, it is recommended that each guest bring one suitcase. Any additional or excess luggage may be stored securely at the hotel in Paris. Please ensure your belongings are clearly labeled and packed appropriately for ease of handling throughout the journey.

Please note: specific requirements when transporting wheelchairs, mobility scooters, or other assistive devices. We recommend checking directly with the Cruise Line prior to departure to ensure compliance with their policies.

Documents and Visa Requirements:

A valid passport with six months remaining until the expiration date is required for entry. U.S. citizens currently do not require a visa, however, this is always subject to change. Please contact your local embassy or consulate for the latest requirements and application procedures.

Land programs that encompass multiple days ashore customarily include extensive and prolonged activity, while those of shorter durations typically have more moderate activity levels. However, each program varies, and participants should be prepared to negotiate a mixture of surfaces which may include inclines, cobblestones, sand, and gravel or natural paths. There may also be a need to climb steps or stairs on occasion. This program is not recommended for guests who require the use of a wheelchair or mobility scooters. Guests with mobility concerns are advised to carefully assess their personal physical capabilities and stamina. Participants must be able to independently board and disembark from transportation, including motor coaches, and should be accompanied by an able-bodied companion if assistance is needed. Guests who choose to use independent transportation or wheelchair services provided by third-party companies may do so at their own risk and responsibility. We encourage guests to contact the cruise line in advance to discuss any specific mobility-related questions or concerns before booking this program. Weather appropriate clothing; hats; sunglasses; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are generally recommended.

Booking, Pricing & Cancelation:

All land programs are capacity controlled and subject to availability. Programs falling under the minimum number of required participants are subject to cancellation. Pricing listed is also subject to change to meet unexpected cost increases for transportation, land arrangements or currency fluctuations. Once purchased, pricing is guaranteed and not subject to change. Mid cruise overland programs must be purchased no later than 90 days prior to your sail date. Cancellations made within 90 days or less prior to the sail date are subject to 100% cancellation penalty. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the program. This includes, but is not limited to, missed transfers, accommodation, guided tours, meals, or activities. All venues, hotel stays, tour guides, and logistical services are secured and pre-paid well in advance to ensure a seamless experience for all participants.
