DAY 1

Disembark in Montevideo and transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, you’ll be assisted with your onward connection to Iguazu. Due to timing, lunch will be arranged either during the ferry transfer or at the airport. Upon reaching Iguazu, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation located within the national park, offering immediate immersion into the lush surroundings and proximity to the falls. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the natural beauty of Iguazu.

DAY 2

After breakfast, begin your immersive day with a guided transfer into Iguazu National Park, where the name “Iguazú”, meaning “Great Waters” in Guarani, comes to life. Towering higher than Niagara and twice as wide, this extraordinary natural spectacle features 275 individual waterfalls cascading across nearly two miles of lush subtropical terrain. As you walk along the lower circuit catwalks, you’ll experience the falls from a unique vantage point, close enough to feel the mist and hear the thunderous roar of water plunging into the river below.

Later, board the Iguazu Eco-Train for a scenic ride through the rainforest, arriving at the iconic Garganta del Diablo, or Devil’s Throat, just in time for sunset. Here, the Iguazu River crashes down nearly 80 meters in a breathtaking display of nature’s power, often framed by shimmering rainbows. After this unforgettable experience, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Buenos Aires, where you’ll be met and escorted to the pier to reboard your ship.

Expected Weather:

South America’s seasons run opposite to those in North America, with summer occurring from December through March. During this period, travelers should anticipate a hot and humid climate, with rain possible at any time. In the Iguazu region, average daytime highs reach around 90°F (32°C), while nighttime lows settle near 65°F (18°C). The overall mean temperature hovers around 74°F (23°C), making lightweight, breathable clothing and sun protection essential for comfort during outdoor activities.

What to Bring:

Pack comfortable, breathable clothing suitable for warm and humid conditions, along with a change of clothes for excursions. Local Currency:

The official currency is the Argentine Peso. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted throughout the region, including at most shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Luggage Information:

For flights included in this program, each guest is permitted one checked bag with a maximum weight of 15kg (33lbs), along with one carry-on item. It is essential to adhere to these limits to ensure smooth boarding and compliance with airline regulations. Please pack accordingly and consult your airline or program coordinator if you have questions about baggage allowances.

Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)

• Guests must obtain a doctor’s certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights.

• The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications, especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type).

• These documents must be sent to the Land Program Team via the Reservations Team at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).

• Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which the cruise line nor our local ground operator can be responsible for.

Behold the staggeringly beautiful natural phenomenon Iguazú Falls up close and from both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides, two perspectives that will leave you in awe. The surrounding national park is a UNESCO World Heritage site and Iguazú is its star attraction. This massive semicircular cascade is made up of 275 separate waterfalls that thunder down sheer cliffs in a majestic display of nature’s raw power. An open-air ecological train will take you to its single tallest waterfall, a monstrous rainbow-spewing curtain of water known as Devil’s Throat.

DAY 1

After disembarking the cruise ship in Montevideo, you will transfer to the ferry terminal and take the ferry to Buenos Aires. Lunch will be served on the ferry or at the airport in Buenos Aires before you fly to Iguazú Falls.

Once you land, you will transfer to the Hotel Das Cataratas in the Brazilian National Park, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight.

DAY 2

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to the Iguazú National Park. The name Iguazú means “Great Waters” in the language of the indigenous Guarani people. That description couldn’t be more accurate.

Iguazú Falls is an monumental natural wonder that is taller than Niagara Falls and twice as wide. It consists of 275 waterfalls that form a massive and magnificent cascade that stretches for nearly 1.7 miles. Its waters thunder through a jungle of sub-tropical greenery on the border between Argentina and Brazil.

As you travel on foot along the lower-circuit catwalks on the Argentinian side of the falls, you will enjoy a unique perspective of Iguazú. You will be close enough to feel the spray and energy that this enormous wall of falling water creates.

Following a buffet lunch within the national park, you will ride the open-air Iguazú ecological train to Devil’s Throat, where the waterfall really flaunts its unbridled power. There, the water crashes down into a milky abyss, creating rainbow after rainbow.

After this extraordinary experience, you will return to the hotel for dinner and to spend the evening.

DAY 3

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will tour the Brazilian side of the national park. A box lunch will be served as you transfer to the airport for the return flight to Buenos Aires. Upon landing, you will transfer to the pier to re-embark the cruise ship.
