Brief Program Description:

Behold the wonders of Torres del Paine National Park in southernmost Chile, a land of untamed natural beauty that never fails to inspire. Your first glimpse of the rugged Patagonian terrain will be while flying overhead and then from panoramic lookouts and on a breathtaking cruise across Grey Lake, where the towering wall of blue-tinged Grey Glacier terminates. The sheer power of nature will be evident as you stand before Salto Grande waterfall. For a look at local life, you will visit an estancia for a sheep-shearing demonstration.

DAY 1

After disembarking in Punta Arenas, you will transfer to the airport for a chartered private flight to Puerto Natales. From the air, you will enjoy stunning views of Patagonia’s rugged landscapes and turquoise fjords with an unforgettable detour for flightseeing over Torres del Paine. You can’t help but marvel at the park’s dramatic peaks and glacial lakes from this unique perspective.

Upon landing in Puerto Natales, you will visit an estancia for a mouthwatering meal of traditional spit-roasted lamb. You will also witness a sheep-shearing demonstration and the remarkable skills of sheepdogs in action.

Later in the day, you will check into The Singular Patagonia, a 5-star hotel surrounded by the natural beauty of southern Chile.

DAY 2

The day will begin with an early transfer to Lago Grey, where you will embark on a spectacular navigation to Grey Glacier. While cruising along the lake, you will behold the glacier’s towering ice walls and vivid blue hues. Back on land, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at Hotel Grey before heading back to Puerto Natales for dinner and to spend another delightful evening.

DAY 3

Today, you will explore the stunning eastern side of Torres del Paine National Park, starting with serene Laguna Azul, which will offer picture-perfect views of the iconic Torres peaks. You will then continue through Laguna Amarga to the Lago Nordenskjöld viewpoint, where turquoise waters are framed by rugged mountains.

After a hearty lunch at a restaurant set in the park’s breathtaking surroundings, you will visit the dramatic Salto Grande waterfall. You will then return to Puerto Natales to spend one last night.

DAY 4

After breakfast, you will transfer to Puerto Natales airport for your flight to Puerto Montt. Upon landing, you will transfer to the port to rejoin the cruise.

General Information

Electricity:

220 volts. Bring a universal travel adaptor for electronic devices.

Expected Weather:

Patagonia: Cool, mostly cloudy and windy with temperatures between 0°C to 16°C (33°F to 61°F).

What to Bring:

Weather-appropriate quick-dry clothing that includes a wind-proof and waterproof jacket, waterproof hiking boots, thermal layers, hats, a day pack, a reusable water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves and beanie. Also bring a camera with a zoom lens.

Luggage:

You may bring free of charge one piece of checked luggage weighing a maximum of 20 kilograms/44 pounds and one small carry-on per person. The carry-on bag must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.

Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)

1.Guests must obtain a doctor’s certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights.

2.The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications, especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type).

3.These documents must be sent to the Land Program Team via the Reservations Team at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).

4.Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which the cruise line nor our local ground operator can be responsible for.

Please note: Some airlines may impose restrictions or specific requirements when transporting wheelchairs, mobility scooters, or other assistive devices. We recommend checking directly with your airline or the Cruise Line prior to departure to ensure compliance with their policies.

Documents and Visa Requirements:

A passport valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates is required. Please consult your local embassy to confirm any visa requirements specific to your nationality.

Vaccination & Health Regulations:

Guests are responsible for confirming up-to-date vaccination requirements directly with their local embassy or health authority. Please note that visa and vaccination costs are not included in the price of this program.

To ensure successful flight arrangements for this program, the name on your cruise booking, passport, and any required visas must match exactly. This includes first, middle, and last names, with identical spelling across all documents. Discrepancies may result in denial of boarding by the airline.

Cruise line-generated manifests must align precisely with your official travel documents.

Failure to present the correct documentation or inconsistencies in guests names may lead to denied travel or the need to re-purchase tickets at your own expense. Guests will be responsible for any additional costs incurred due to these discrepancies.

? Patagonia is known for its rapidly changing weather. Guests should be prepared for sun, wind, rain, and even snow on the same day. Waterproof, windproof gear and layered clothing are essential year-round.

? Some iconic hikes (such as the Base of the Towers or the French Valley) require long trekking days (7–10 hours).

? The park has limited connectivity: mobile signal is scarce, and internet access is minimal or unavailable in many areas. Guests should plan accordingly.

? This program is not recommended for guests with limited mobility, as many activities are not wheelchair accessible and involve uneven, rugged terrain.

Land programs that encompass multiple days ashore customarily include extensive and prolonged activity, while those of shorter durations typically have more moderate activity levels. However, each program varies, and participants should be prepared to negotiate a mixture of surfaces which may include: inclines, cobblestones, sand, and gravel or natural paths. There may also be a need to climb steps or stairs on occasion. This program is not recommended for guests who require the use of a wheelchair or mobility scooters. Guests with mobility concerns are advised to carefully assess their personal physical capabilities and stamina. Participants must be able to independently board and disembark from transportation, including motor coaches, and should be accompanied by an able-bodied companion if assistance is needed. Guests who choose to use independent transportation or wheelchair services provided by third-party companies may do so at their own risk and responsibility. We encourage guests to contact the cruise line in advance to discuss any specific mobility-related questions or concerns before booking this program. Weather appropriate clothing; hats; sunglasses; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are generally recommended.

All land programs are capacity controlled and subject to availability. Programs falling under the minimum number of required participants are subject to cancellation. Pricing listed is also subject to change to meet unexpected cost increases for transportation, land arrangements or currency fluctuations. Once purchased, pricing is guaranteed and not subject to change. Land programs must be purchased no later than 90 days prior to your sail date. Cancellations made within 90 days or less prior to the sail date are subject to 100% cancellation penalty. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the program.
