Behold the awe-inspiring natural beauty of Moorea while riding through the gorgeous tropical landscape and from the comfort of your thatched-roof bungalow, which perches just feet above the crystal-clear sea. Jagged volcanically formed mountains lend the island an almost primeval look, yet the ambiance is wonderfully sophisticated and the French influence is evident everywhere. Although you will gaze out over Moorea from several lookouts, the best view may be from your bungalow as it features a glass floor panel that presents the wonders underwater.
DAY 1
Upon arrival at Moorea, you will transfer to the Belvedere, an elevated viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of Opunohu and Cook bays, craggy Mount Rotui and vast fields of pineapple.
For a look at Tahitian culture and traditions, you will visit Marae Tiirua, an important archaeological site that was a place of worship centuries ago. Moorea’s volcanic origins and natural beauty will be on display as you explore an ancient crater nearby.
You will then transfer to the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa to spend the evening in a thatched-roof bungalow perched just feet above the turquoise lagoon.
The elegant interior, inspired by French painter Paul Gauguin, features a glass floor panel for glimpses of the crystal-clear sea below. With direct access to the lagoon from your terrace, feel free to immerse yourself in the warm, shallow water any time. A mask and snorkel will be provided.
Overnight at Hotel Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa or similar.
DAY 2
Begin theday with a sumptuous buffet breakfast at the hotel, followed by leisure time to do as you please.
After checking out, you will transfer to the Toatea lookout, where you will enjoy sweeping views of Temae Beach and the island of Tahiti.
You will then board the ferry and cruise to Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia, where you will re-embark the ship.

General Information
Electricity:
French Polynesia’s electrical system operates at 220 volts with a frequency of 50 Hz. Most hotels and resorts provide standard European-style two-prong outlets. If you are bringing electrical appliances from outside Europe, it is advisable to carry an international adapter kit. The outlets generally accept Type E and Type F plugs, featuring two round pins. While many accommodations offer hair dryers and adapters, it is recommended to bring your own adapters to ensure compatibility. Be aware that in some remote areas or during power-saving periods, electricity may be limited, potentially restricting the use or charging of devices overnight.
Expected Weather:
In French Polynesia, February and March are part of the wet season. Daytime temperatures generally range from the high 60s to the mid-80s Fahrenheit with humidity levels often high. Occasional rain showers typically occur, mostly in the late afternoon or evening. Despite the rain, evenings remain warm and pleasant.
What to Bring:
Casual lightweight clothing is recommended. Daytime attire is relaxed while evenings call for smart-casual wear. Comfortable sandals or water shoes are advisable for beach activities and exploring coral reefs. Don’t forget swimwear, sun hats, sunglasses and sunscreen.
